White Tie Affair

On May 18, 2019, the Brothers of the Trenton Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. celebrated our 70th Anniversary with our bi-annual gala, “White Tie Affair – Masquerade Ball”.

The gala was a masquerade themed formal fund-raising event hosted by the Trenton Kappa Foundation.  Each year the Foundation partners with other non-profit organizations, businesses, and government agencies to impact the lives of minority youth in the greater Trenton community. The Foundation’s emphasis is on providing mentorship focused on academic and social development of community youth, awarding college scholarships, and conducting educational forums on health risks to the African-American community.

In addition to celebrating the Trenton Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi’s 70th Anniversary, we honored our 2019 scholarship recipients.

With this year’s gala was a perfectly executed evening of glamour, glitz and elegance that included a gourmet plated dinner, energetic and captivating entertainment and live music provided by the award winning, all female band, Be’la Dona.

Masked guests danced to a mix of new school and old school, participated in silent auctions, and captured memories at the “step and repeat.”  The gala gave folks an outlet to network with like minded people, celebrate success, honor achievement, inspire action and to build the host community by investing in college bound academically deserving students.

We would like to thank all of our sponsors and friends for their continued support of the Trenton Kappa Foundation and our efforts in the Trenton community.

Stay tuned for announcements regarding the next “White Tie Affair – Masquerade Ball”.
