For over 28 yearrs, Walter worked in the juvenile justice field in various administrative positions, and in 2005, he retired from the State of New Jersey Juvenile Justice Commission.
From 2005 through 2015, Walter served as the Executive Director for the Capitol Corridor Community Development Corporations (3 years) and the Trenton Parking Authority (6 years). Drawing on his extensive experience in training, planning, administrative and management services, he created the Restorative Solutions, LLC company to provide training, planning, administrative and management services for private, faith-based, non-profit and governmental agencies.
Walter is a past Polemarch (President) of the Trenton Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and has served on various national and local boards.
